Grant/Scientific writing skills:
The Society provides grant/scientific writing skills to its members.
Annual meetings:
The Society holds annual, scientific and general meetings. The
annual scientific meeting provides an opportunity for members
to present their research results, and for interaction among the
Society members and non members involved in health research.
Journal Clubs & Scientific Lectures:
The Society organises and holds journal clubs & scientific
lectures where members discuss topical issues and learn more about
the research process.
Resource center:
The USHS Secretariat at the Department of Anatomy provides a resource
opportunity for members; resources available include reference
books, scientific journals, medical literature search facilities
and internet services.
Research
Methodology workshops:
Proposal development assists its members to design and write proposals.
Data analysis helps society members to enter, clean, protect,
analyse and present their data.
Publications:
The society produces a bi annual newsletter showing scientific
updates, reserch opportunities and annoucements for meetings.
HIV/AIDS collaborative
meetings:
These are held every two years and they bring together all organisations
involved in HIV/AIDS research.
