USHS Membership

Membership is open to all individuals from the health profession interested and / or involved in health related research in Uganda regardless of their religion, gender, tribe, race or age. There are 4 designations in membership: namely: full members, associate members, affiliate members and honorary members.

Full members are scientists who have voting rights and can be voted into office.
Associate members are those who are not entitled to vote or stand for any office.
Affiliate membership is open to organizations with similar objectives to the Society or such other organizations as the Board may decide.
Honorary membership is open to all individuals who provide significant support to the Society and the Board confers such status upon such members.

NB.Our year subcription fee is 20,000/= and USD 30 for foreign members.Pay at the secretariat. The foreign members channel their money through western union or others pay when they come to Uganda for other business.
